Bun Lady Transport was established in 1999 as a service to shuttle buns from Tennessee Bun Company (in Dickson) to Nashville Bun Company for packaging. Born of frustration with the high cost and inconsistent service of third-party carriers, BLT began with only one truck; however, since its inception BLT has evolved into what is today a full-service transportation company, traveling more than three million miles in 2007. President Michael Jeansonne credits BLT’s enormous growth to the company’s unique understanding of customers’ demands. “Knowing our customers’ needs inside-out gives us a competitive edge to perform at a higher level,” Jeansonne notes.

Today, BLT hauls fresh dairy, produce, meats, frozen and refrigerated foods, servicing the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, and California. Some of our clients include McDonald’s, Purity Dairy, Odom’s Tennessee Pride, and Tyson Fresh Foods.
